At Murphy Road Baptist Church, our goal is for children to come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.  We believe the Word of God should be taught to children through fun and entertaining worship taught on a level children can grasp and understand.  We want children to know that worshipping God is fun and, even though they are young, they are very special in the eyes of God.   Jesus loves the little children and we strive to show them His love and provide them with the knowledge to "come unto Him."

Congratulations to Kristen Lindsey, the winner of the Nintendo DS for bringing the most friends to church in February. Way to go Kristen!

April 11     Friday Night at the Park                                7:00pm
Meet at Pirates Cove Playground (in Founders Park behind Wylie High School).  Bring a friend and a flashlight for a night of fun and fellowship.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

April 17    Skating Night                                                   6:30-9:00pm
Texas Skatium in Rowlett
Grades K-6
$5.00 per child (includes admission and skate rentals) 
                                      -or-
$25.00 for a group of 4 people (includes skate rental, admission, pizza, and pitcher of drinks).

April 21     VBS Trainig                                                    7:00-9:00pm
Held at Murphy Road Baptist Church.  Come and get some fun ideas about this year's Vacation Bible School.  Great for al VBS teachers and all who are trying to decide how they can serve at VBS this year!

April 25     Drive-In Movie Night                                    8:00pm
Come and watch "Bee Movie" on our big screen in the parking lot in front of the north building.  Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.  Enjoy free nachos, popcorn, candy, and sodas.  Bring your friends and family and join us for a great night of fun!
